Windgap Medical’s Epinephrine Autoinjector
Traditional EpiPens are a burden to carry, thermally unstable (>86°F), and complicated to use. Windgap’s autoinjector addresses all three deficiencies of the EpiPen by miniaturizing the device to the size of a USB drive, turning the medication into a dry powdered form with enhanced thermal stability and a longer shelf-life (2 years at 105˚F), and developing easy to use packaging to reconstitute and inject the liquid drug.
